Each year we all get one year older, but that doesn’t me we all aged the same amount during that year. Symptoms of excess aging include:
- Fatigue (especially after getting enough sleep)
- Thinng hair
- Loss of mental “sharpness”
- Excess wrinkles
- Weight gain that does not come off even with diet and exercise
Symptoms like fatigue and pain are common, but they are not a normal part of aging. Developing wrinkles happens to everyone, but there are simple ways to minimize the number of wrinkles we develop (and get rid of some that are already there). There are a lot of factors that influence the amount of aging our body does during the course of a year. While there is no way to stop the aging process, there are many simple changes that can be made to slow it down and even reverse some elements of it.
This free workshop will consist of an explanation of the dietary, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause us to age faster. We will then discuss changes that can be made at home to slow down the aging process. A sample of a healthy dish related to the topic will be served at the workshop and the recipe will be provided.
