Nutrition & Supplements

“You are what you eat” is not just a clever saying, the food we eat makes up the building blocks of every cell in our body… literally. Nutrition is an important part of what we do in our office. We offer nutritional counseling as a means of reducing weight, increasing energy, or solving a number of different health issues. During our nutritional counseling sessions, we sit down and discuss the nature of the problem, we analyze your diet and lifestyle choice, as well as your daily routine. We then formulate a treatment plan that works for you.

No treatment plan or diet modification will work if it is not followed. If we recommend a diet or lifestyle change that is too difficult, we will work to find an alternative solution that fits you.  Every nutritional counseling session is different, but they will often consist of foods to avoid, foods or food-groups to focus on, and lifestyle modifications. Sometimes the sessions will include recommendations for short-term cleanses, purifications, or detoxifications.

Staying healthy by maintaining a diet of nutrient-dense food is the best way succeed; no amount of supplements will fix a terrible diet. With that said, we often use supplements to encourage a specific effect on the body which it would be impractical to obtain from consuming the food directly or to obtain that result faster than food alone.

The supplements we carry are made by professional brands, using the highest quality ingredients. Why do we recommend getting your supplements from a professional brand? Multiple recent studies of store-bought supplements from major retailers found that most do not contain ANY of what they claim on the bottle. Worse yet, some were found to have potentially dangerous ingredients. [citations 1 and 2]. All the supplements we carry are third-party verified to contain exactly what they say on the bottle, and nothing else. Call to schedule a free consultation today, and learn how we can help you!
